Coding Services
Coding Staff:
All IBS coders are CPC certified. They are diligently trained to read all documentation and adhere to all correct coding standards. Each day a coding worksheet is sent to the physicians billing staff and if requested a copy is sent to the hospital coding staff. During the coding process our coders will work directly with the physician or a support staff member if additional documentation is required or if questions arise during the coding process.
IBS Coding Service:
All IBS Coders are CPC certified and code exclusively for the following disciplines:
- Cardiac Surgery
- Thoracic Surgery
- Vascular Surgery
- Cardiology
- Cardiothoracic Surgery Support staff i.e. Physician Assistants
Monthly Service
The coding service may be utilized as needed on a month to month basis.
Pricing is calculated based on encounters per month. An encounter is all associated coding per patient per date of service.
Utilized Seamlessly with the IBS Billing Service
The coding service may also be utilized in conjunction with the IBS Billing Service. In this case the cost is included into one monthly fee based on a % of collected revenue only.
